Saw palmetto has been the staple offering in any health shop for many years as the default treatment for an enlarged prostate gland. This is a plant that many years ago was found to help and alleviate the condition to a degree.
It is not alone. Pumpkin seeds, some varieties of nettles, some peanuts and many other plants if taken in reasonable numbers will all help.
Why is this? These all contain small amounts of a compound called beta-sitosterol and it is this that works on an enlarged prostate gland.
So, logic says why not take pure beta-sitosterol. That is what we do with our Prostamax. It contains 99% beta-sitosterol extracted from the soy plant and consequently is considerably more effective than saw palmetto.
Now is the time to make the change.
